Moreover, this app seamlessly integrates with HealthKit, streamlining the process of monitoring essential health data such as resting, average, and maximum heart rates, heart rate variability, step count, walking distance, and active energy expenditure.
One standout feature of this application is the ability to customize personal thresholds for different activity levels – from nominal to critical – allowing users to closely monitor their status on both their smartphone and smartwatch. Additionally, users can opt to display complications on their smartwatch face to receive timely alerts if they approach or surpass these set thresholds.
It is important to note that at least one complication must be active on the watch face for background alerts to function. While alerts on the watch may not be immediate, background checks are conducted periodically throughout the day at intervals of a few minutes.
